Dear Colleagues,
Again I would like to express my deepest appreciation of all your
efforts to make the last SHS meeting in Armenia such a great and
succesfull event! Congratulations and many thanks from myself (and my
wife) indeed!
Not only could I get involved closer into a current state of SHS
research in the world. Not only could I see your beautiful country, so
similar, in many aspects, to Poland. I am also really impressed by such
a high level of Armenian research in the field of SHS and I do certainly
hope to keep in touch with you in this respect.
We had also a great time visiting, during the following 5 days, e.g.
Tatev, Dilijan and Vanadzor (and sorroundings), Mt Aragats, Asztarak and Eczmiadzin, and all was fascinating!

With best regards,
Andriej Huczko

Dear Khachatur:

I hope you have been able to rest a bit. It was a marvelous conference with high quality science. I found the excursions, simply delightful. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to participate.

Your young staff was also extraordinarily professional and informative. They met all international standards and deserve a lot of gratitude from the participants. I'm sorry I don't recall all their names in order to thank them individually.

I wonder if your office could find the time for conveying my appreciation to our excellent tour-guides, Ms. Monica (Aragat Trip) and Ms. Marianna (at the Brandy factory).

With best wishes. I do hope we will meet again at least at the next conference.

Dear Prof. Kharatyan,

I want to thank you one more time for the invitation to present my research at SHS 2009. I learned a lot both about SHS and Armenian history and culture, and had a wonderful time. What I learned at the conference convinced me that investigating the mechanism of mechanical activation as related to both MSR and SHS is a very important and potentially rewarding field and I will put more emphasis on that area in my future research. I was new to the SHS community, surrounded by people who had known each other for a long time. But I felt welcome and made connections. So my trip was equally successful from the scientific, cultural, and social points of view.

I know that organizing a conference is a lot of work. You and your team did a great job. We had a great conference, I will remember it for the rest of my life.

If I may be able to help you in any way in the future, do not hesitate to ask. Also, if you travel to the USA and happen to pass through the Washington-Baltimore area, let me know.

Best regards,
Laszlo
